Antonella Mazzone
Antonella is a social scientist with a background in humanities. She investigates decolonial feminist intersectional accounts of extreme heat in rural and urban marginalised communities. She holds a prestigious Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship at the University of Bristol, which aims to understand Indigenous thermal adaptation paradigms through art-based methods.
Antonella is also an honorary research affiliate at the University of Oxford, and at the University of Venice, Centre for Humanities NICHE, shaping research on systemic cooling poverty and thermal justice. Lastly, Antonella serves as co-editor of the academic blog ‘Feminist Perspective’ at King’s College London.
