EIEE Inside – Summer 2024

As we embrace summer, we are thrilled to share some exciting updates from our organization. Following a recent reorganization, CMCC has launched three new institutes, that collaborate, exploiting the advanced technology of the CMCC’s computing infrastructure. The European Institute on Economics and the Environment (EIEE) is one of them, and it delves deep into the evaluation of strategies towards net-zero emissions and beyond; the quantitative Analysis of the socio-economic ramifications of environmental and climatic hazards; the frameworks to evaluate and inform policy design to promote environmental and social sustainability.
